Operation Orphans International would like to construct and run our own secondary school on a piece of land that we already own. This would help us sponsor more orphans to secondary school at a cheaper rate.
Also, it would provide some income as we would charge non-orphans tuition fees. This project will be done in phases. We need your help to get started; phase 1 will cost about $60,000.
In Kenya, secondary school is expensive and often does not provide the opportunities needed to succeed internationally. We want to be able to provide scholarships and a top quality education to high performing orphans.
The goal is to reach out to the community and open our school to qualifying students across the country. It is our goal to support orphans and provide them with top quality education and a safe place to live. We will recruit students from across the country that will pay to attend Shisasari High School.
Vision of Shisasari High School To maximize the academic achievement of students enabling them to develop the skills and character necessary to succeed in a global society. The mission of Shisasari High School is to provide stimulating, innovative, and enjoyable education to high school students in the areas of language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, technology, physical education, and the arts. These basic academic subjects will be taught based on quality character education and biblical teaching and will encourage intellectual inquiry and curiosity.
